Watery Grave is an experiment in ambience. It's far-away rhythms exude simplicity and organic humanity. Largely improvised and instrumental, this haunting piece feels familiar and nostalgic, but also forays into darkness and discomfort at moments. It was recorded in the late evening hours at Space Cabin in Fairfield Iowa during the trying depths of winter.
